      So I’m assuming you can only get dipsticks at a salvage yard? I’ve been trying to hunt down an engine oil and trans oil dipstick for a ’99 Merc Mystique 2.0 and can’t find them. Last resort is pull and pay I guess but that’s hoping that they have the correct vehicle or similar like a ford contour and they are still with the vehicle. So my question is. Is there a place to get dipsticks that’s not the dealer and not used? I would prefer new, because the engine oil’s dipstick handle broke off…

      Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks Guys!

        You may be stuck buying one from the dealer.

        Did you try ebay?
