Have 96 Lexus es300 with A/T which calls for Dexron II fluid so which fluid can I use instead. Would Dexron VI be compatible or should I use something else?

You can use Dextron VI no problem… It is backwards compatible… I.E. It can work with any system that calls for Dextron, Dextron II or Dextron III.

Since they don’t make Dexron II anymore Dexron VI is the synthetic replacement. It should work fine in your transmission

My Toyota Camry (1994) requires Dextron II for the power steering, which I cannot find. What can I use instead ?

Dexron is backward-compatible. You can use VI or IV.
