OK maybe not the link itself but the nut as stupid as it sounds. I’m sure it’s entirely possible I cross threaded but I really don’t think I did. Replace both rear sway bar links three out of four nuts tightened just like they’re supposed to but the last one just spins even when I’m holding the stud with 5 mm Allen key. Tightens maybe to 5 foot-pounds . Not will not spin off or further on just spins in place I’m thinking the threads broke on the nut. And of course it’s not tight enough so link is making all kinds of racket at slow speed’s over bumps driving me insane. I already have defective Return in process at Amazon this is a Beck Arnely part. I don’t really see how I’m going to get the bad one off without cutting, can’t really explain this to faceless nameless Amazon customer service . Oh well I think it was like 15 bucks just curious if anybody has had this happen before. Essentially I think the nut was crap in the threads came loose inside nut or maybe the threads came loose on stud.

I’ve had this kinda stuff happen too, in my case it ate the threads in the nut, but it could be either until you get it apart.

You could try pushing on it with the allen key while undoing the nut?
