From what I’ve read, the gear selector must be in D for the DRLs to come on, and applying the Parking Brake will turn them off.

So, it’s possible that the DRL circuit doesn’t know the vehicle is in D, or perhaps there’s an issue with the Parking Brake. Is the Parking Brake light in the dash lit all the time? It’s also possible that the Headlight Switch is faulty.
