This may sound stupid but people always talk about the dlc and obd connector. I know how to read a schematic but I don’t understand the fundmentals of the data link connector. I know there are 2 grounds and a power and i know the bus or can network is on that. My main issue is. How do I know if a module is communicating with another module. I know how to verify a power and ground and other things like pulse width and things like that. But can I use the dlc to see data communications from a module i suspect has an issue. I know to pull codes from the modules and find the other module it reports too. I guess my real question is how can i verify that a module is recieveing or not recieveing data and can the dlc help me to do that
