    I am putting together a 2001 Honda Civic EX 1.7 VTEC and have the head plug lines orientated 45 deg instead of 0-180 like the attached picture. Is this a problem? Why would you need it to be 0-180 in line with the head anyway?

    I can’t figure out why it should be one way or another…. Seems like it really wouldn’t make much of a difference which way it was put in horizontally or vertically since it has prongs on 4 sides….

    I agree bud. I guess the most that could happen is it leaks and I install a new one.

    I don’t believe it makes any difference as long as the little tabs lock into the cylinder head.
