Curious…

I keep forgetting that I even have this stuff. It’s Subaru Extra S 75w90 gear oil, and it’s supposedly great on Subarus. I wouldn’t know since the chucklehead at the shop used what they had instead of what I supplied. So I’ve got I think 6 bottles of it.

Now the question… would it be in any way harmful or detrimental to my Audi? I want to change the gear oil on that car so bad, but I don’t really have the funds to buy all new liquid… but I have this just sitting around.

      Thoughts?

ONLY use the gear oil in the Audi that is specified by the manufacturer for your model.

I wouldn’t use it in the Audi. Sell the unused oil on Ebay and use the money to buy the correct stuff for the Audi. Wait, you may want to use Craigs List instead of Ebay. There may be some issues shipping oil. You might want to look into that first.

German cars can be very particular about the fluids you use in them. Always follow the manufacturer recommendations.

          Good luck
