Cruise won’t set :(

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty in mint condition. Couple months ago, my cruise stopped setting but the cruise light came on when I clicked on. I drive around that day and parked. Came back out to my car and my cruise worked. Next day, it didn’t. So today I replaced the servo and vacuum line which I do have vacuum because I tested it with my finger and it has suction but whenever I click set, nothing happens. Does not engage at all. Also, I can get out of park without my foot on the brake..why is this? Brake switch related issue causing both of these problems? Or what? I don’t know how to check if I have power to the connector or not. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If you can pull the vehicle out of park without touching the brake pedal then I would
suggest the brake switch is having a problem and also cancelling the cruise. Are the brake
        lights on all the time?

No brake lights operate normay. Also I can only change gears if I use the button which should be normal right

I don’t have access to a vacuum gauge but I’m going to test the brake switch tomorrow for continuity. And the cruise servo connector. Will update. Any other suggestions are appreciated such as could it be the Idle Position Sensor or ETC

Two days ago upon observing my brake switch it seemed to just “sit” in the slot. I pulled it out and both tabs which interlock the switch were broken. Pins one and two had no continuity. Replaced switch (21.46$) cruise back to normal
