      I Have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt LS and my cruise control doesn’t work or stops working I reset the ECU and it works then it will stop working and the switch to turn on the cruise control lights up when i push to turn it on but still nothing.. If anyone has any information about this issue with this car please help. Thanks!!

        Do your brake lights work? Check them… If your brake switch is bad below your pedal the system will not allow Cruise control to work…

            Is the MIL light on for any reason? Is the speedometer working fine?

            Any recent work done to the vehicle for any reason?

              MIL is not on and the speedometer is working fine. No work has been done

                Is it standard or automatic? Sometimes any pressure put on the clutch will cause it to disengage…

                    Hmmmm… Do you have any access to a scan tool that has live data… Would be interesting to see what the PCM/BCM is seeing…. Sorry can’t be more help… I do know that the trick you are doing sometimes works, but obviously there are other issues…. perhaps an electrical issue, or the BCM itself….

                      NO, I don’t have one that does live data, but yeah it has me scratching my head lol I was also thinking it could be an issue with the software for the cruise control but idk..
