Okay, I have this 1996 Integra with 149,000 miles. I replaced the ball joints and steering arms last summer. Now it’s creaking whenever I go over a big speed-bump. It doesn’t creak when I jump on the fenders, and it doesn’t creak when I turn the steering. How can I figure out if it’s the struts, or one of the other flexy and rubbery things? or should I just replace the struts anyway as they haven’t been changed since I got the car with 70,000 miles?

In addition to the article above I think it’s also worth mentioning that quality parts are a good idea here. It may be your new ball joints if they are of poor quality. Poor quality may be just about everything outside of OE. Use the suspension noise video in the article that was posted to help you find the source though. Keep us posted on what you find.
