crappy idle

I just purchased an 1992 RS camaro with a 5.0 305ci throttle body injection. It really ran like crap no power terrible gas mileage. But only paid $500 for it.I replaced the spark plugs and wires, the ignition module,cap and roter,02 sensor, the MAT sensor,air filter,new Pcv valve, new radiator, changed the oil. Now it runs great gets disent gas milage but idles like crap most of the time it will die in gear if I don’t put it in neutral. After I start the engine and drive down tthe road after about 3 to 5 minutes the service engine soon light comes on and stays on until I stop let’s say to get gas weather I stop for 1 or 5 minutes when I start the engine and drive the service engine light doesn’t come on until 3
to 5 minutes after I begin driving. Any suggestions on what my problem might be thanks

Just a shot in the dark here, but have you checked the PCV valve? A bad PCV valve can create a rough idle.

Yea the PVC valve is new too…thanks for the reply

Ah ok and yer welcome. I’m sure you’ve already looked up the codes but just in case I will supply a link. To me all the codes point towards a potential electrical problem somewhere(including a possible defective sensor) but without seeing the car myself in person I cannot say for certain.

Code 32= Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) solenoid Wiring open circuit/short circuit to ground, EGR valve, ECM

Code 53= (Camaro 5.0L) Immobilizer system, code – malfunction Incorrect key, ECM
