crankshaft position sensor

Hey guys i’m working on a 01 acura mdx 3.5 liter need some help with replaceing the crankshaft position sensor. Need to know where it is located and the easiest way to replace it thanks for any help on this.

many crank sensors are located behind the harmonic balancer, the pully on the crankshaft in front of the engine, also like my car, in most cases, too get them off you must remove the harmonic balancer using a pully puller… like with my car.

this is apparently what the part looks like for your car, see if you can spot anything not too far from the Harmonic balancer that looks like it.

The crankshaft position sensor is in the dizzy. I believe
you need to replace the entire dizzy. Now there is a crankshaft
speed fluctuation sensor.which is located near the oil pump.
Why do you need to replace the sensor?
