                            what would contribute to the crank bearing failure would be_x000D_
                            the drive belts being to tight. Pulling on that bearing puts undo_x000D_
                            stress on that bearing. The bearing won’t run straight any more._x000D_
                            It does take time to happen. but the end result is what you g

                              You could also use a mechanics stethoscope or a very long screw driver to see if you can isolate the noise._x000D_
                              _x000D_
                              But with the oil pressure light coming on, that is a concern._x000D_
                              _x000D_

                                  I would stick with the OEM recommend oil viscosity._x000D_
                                  _x000D_
                                  Using too thick of an oil will cause oil starvation issues at start up._x000D_
                                  _x000D_
                                  Becareful of the Lucas Oil additives as it is a very thick oil additive -_x000D_
