Starting from the beginning.
My parents were on a …..okay, not that far back….Car over heated on a major highway, redline temp. Car got towed home, and so I move it into the shop.
I added coolant to look for a leak, couldn’t seem to find one with all the coolant from before. I turn the car off, and clean up most of the coolant(coming from just by the belts, might be water pump?) I go to start the car again, and it will not fire but it still cranks over. I didn’t touch anything but the Coolant Temp Sensor?(right above the pullies just behind the alternator)
The car seems to run alright when I moved it the 200 feet into the shop, and I’ve tried cleaning up the sensor and it doesn’t help. It seems to be getting fuel, because I can hear the pump going, and the smell of fuel up by the engine bay. There isn’t any leaks of fuel.
I can’t check spark by myself, so other than that. Does anyone have any suggestions?
