Went to have my alignment done and was told I need to replace inner tie rods. For this moment in time does price really reflect quality? I am deciding between a 18 tie rod and one that is 62. The vehicle has 264K miles and I can easily say if it was half of that I would go with the higher cost one. What would you guys do?

I assume the 62 dollar part is a MOOG. Those are usually the highest priced parts around.

Just my 2 cents, but I’ve never found MOOG to be any better than much lower priced store brands (DuraLast, MasterPro, etc) and I’ve done a ton of suspension and steering component repairs over the years. The less expensive has worked well for me.
