Rent the one from parts store when needed and take it back for no cost at end of job.

I do use it enough to warrant owning one. The other problem is the parts stores where I live do not have them very often. They are almost always not there when you need it.

I think the cheaper one is a re-brand and the other one is actually a Snap-On made unit.

You could probably find one form a company like Astro Pneumatic, or some similar company for half the price. Not that I don’t think the Snappy one is worth it, just that as a shadetree you’re unlikely to use a cheaper one to the point of failure. Most of them are probably around the same price, because they probably all come out of the same factory, so as long as you don’t buy one that’s way cheaper than the others you should be fine. The $100 dollars or so could go towards something else. If you’re set on it, I would go for the one with more adapters. Rock Auto also sells adapters for many cars in the specific category.

            The SV272 is more durable.
The p890108 may fit more types of vehicles but takes more time to use because you have to inflate the bladder to fit and hold the unit.
The little bladders wear out and need to be replaced and the adapters are not that durable. This is more as a companion to cover which the other set cannot and used for that occasion.
That is based on my experience.
