OK I have a 1992 Honda Accord LX. My cooling fans are not working. I tried hard wiring the fans to the battery and they work. I also put a paper clip in the plug that attaches to the cooling fan switch and the fans kicked on. i Also checked the fuses and relays as well and they are all good. I replaced the cooling fan switch and thermostat and still nothing, the fans do not turn on, even when i turn on the ac. I replaced the plug that goes in to the cooling fan switch as well, what do i do next. The car i have left idling for 10-15 mins, the car did not over heat but the fans still did not kick on. What is the problem? Thx lou

The switch you jumped was it at the top of the radiator or
        the bottom?

The bottom one is what you want. If you jumped it and the fans
came on then the problem is the thermal switch or the connector.

i am confused. There is a sensor right on the thermostat housing. Is that not the fan switch? If it is then i replaced that one when i changed the thermostat.
i thought the sensor that is in front on top of my radiator was my ECT, what sensor is that then?
