Just bought a 2005 nissan sentra s, checked the car and everything checked fine, when taking the car 20 minutes driving started to overheat and car stalling, pull to the side and saw the coolant reservoir boiling. No white smoke or anything else.. any help I havent check anything yet stuck at work. Hope is not a blown gasket. thanks

i have moved this to service and repair questions answered here, and it sounds like a blown head gasket from my personal experience.

Before we go all doom and gloom, replace the radiator cap. A bad rad cap will produce the condition you describe.

            Agree …
            Start simple,
Look for any possible air flow blockages in front of the radiator.
Check and see if the cooling fan(s) are operating.
Make sure you have no air entrapment ….Bleed the cooling system
            Replace the rad cap.
            Beyond that:
            A faulty thermostat
            A faulty water pump
A blockage in the cooling system
