I Replaced valve covers on a 2005 Infiniti FX35 with 135k miles. Right after I put everything back together, I started the car, took it for a 5 min drive and when I got back I noticed the following:

      – Coolant leak from the hose (#11) connected to Electric throttle body (#1)
      – White smoke from tail pipe
      – Water dripping from exhaust
      – White smoke from the engine bay (light amount) I think is the coolant burning

Good to mention that as I was putting back the manifold collectors, cover (#6, 7, 13) I didn’t use a torque wrench, I only tighten the screws with a rachet (snug). I also didn’t replace the 2 metal gaskets (#8 ). Today I will re-attach the hose but the pipe smoke/water I’m sure is something else.

      What should I look for?
Could it be that because I didn’t use the torque wrench there is no a good seal causing coolant to leak into the chambers?
Should I replace the metal gaskets and torque to specs?

Thanks for the help and see attached figure for my number reference.

I would think it is a coolant hose leaking.
as for the steam and water probably cold there?
