Coolant leak

I need help locating a coolant leak. I have a 2003 trailblazer with 100,000 miles and a 4.2 liter. My problem is a leak near the water pump. The pump has been replaced twice , but when a pro pressure tested it that’s what he said was leaking. I can see moisture at a spot just right of the pump, but it looks like it is coming from a cover plate on the front of the block. This plate looks like it covers the whole front. I’m no mechanic but I try to do as much as I can so any help is appreciated.

I used to own an 04 trailblazer and still have a service manual somewhere. I work full time and go to college part time so it might be Wednesday before I can look for it. When I get it I’ll post something if you haven’t been helped by then.

Get a second opinion.

The pump does mount to the front engine cover, which is removable. So it is possible it’s leaking where it meets the block.
