I own a 1995 Acura Integra and I had taken the cylinder head off because I suspected a blown head gasket. I will first note, that the oil on the dipstick was not milky. It looked like oil should. However, I was burning oil and coolant and the compression on cylinders 1-3 were low compared to cylinder 4. So I decided to take a look at the head gasket. The gasket did not turn out to be blown, but I saw a nice puddle of oil where it was seeping into the combustion chamber. I then concluded, that the cylinder head must be warped. I took it to a machine shop where they straightened it out, cleaned it, put new valve seals in, etc. Today, however, I was in the process of putting the intake manifold on, but I decided to removed the PCV breather chamber to access the bolts easier. When I took out the breather chamber, liquid came out that was too thin to be oil. It got me thinking, either that was coolant or it was some left over liquid that the machine shop used to clean the cylinder head. If anyone knows how machine shops tend to clean cylinder heads or any other input on this scenario, I would be grateful. Thanks!
