I did a compression check on my car because of it starting hard. I did both a dry and wet test. My numbers are cylinder 1 – 50 psi dry 60 wet, cylinder 2 – 60 dry 80 wet, cylinder 3 40 dry 60 wet, and cylinder 4 55 dry 70 wet. cylinder has small leak about 4 psi in 3 mins according to gauge. I know the first question would be if it was done right/if the gauge is good i tried it on a truck and came back with a normal range of 120 + psi. I also know I have to replace headgaskets could this be caused from just that? any help or advice would be very welcomed thank you

You do not state the mileage on the engine.
But being that low across all cylinders could be wear from the rings, valves, valve seat or a poor fitted head gasket.
Suggest you do a leak down test on all cylinders to pin point the cause.

the mileage is about 127k. i was told but i don’t believe that the headgaskets were replaced less then 7 k ago. I don’t have any oil loss or coolant loss besides when it has overfilled the over flow tank. when i last drove the car everything was normal no loss of power no smoke and no odd sounds. the only leak i know of is in the fourth cylinder and it is small. And what would be the chances of both head gaskets going at the same time? I am more looking if i should change the head gaskets and see what is wrong or should i change the engine?

Before you decide to do anything..
As I said, do a leak down test and narrow down the cause of the low compression.
Then with knowing what is the cause, you can decide on the best course of action.
