97 Oldsmobile Bravada 4.3
I finally got my misfire gone on the Bravada (I hope). However, it has been a little sluggish and I think it is time to clean up the upper cylinder/combustion chamber to get rid of some carbon. I have a watched a few video’s on how to do this and looks pretty straight forward.
Only problem: I think I grabbed the wrong stuff when I stopped at the parts store tonight and grabbed Berryman’s B-12 Chemtool fuel treatment (Pictured Below). Do I need to get the step 2 combustion chamber cleaner instead? I am running this in the brake booster line, the crank case, and the gas tank as shown in the DIY video’s on Youtube. Not sure but I think the Berryman’s B-12 Chemtool may just be for the gas tank!!!???
*Also going to put on a new fuel filter. Should I add the new fuel filter before, or after I do the flush? I am thinking after – and even after I do the driving to run out the deposits/smoke from the flush.
Thanks!
