I have a 2005 tiburon gs, when i start the engine “cold” and press the gas the engine sounds like its bogging out..the same reaction when pouring seafoam into your brake booster. if i let the car run fpr 3-4 minutes i dont get the bogging out. anyone have any idea why
*i have a cold air intake on the car and a aftermarket meegan exhuast if it makes a difference, other than that bone stock.

If you had the vehicle running and warmed up.If you shut it off
for say 10 minutes. does the problem happen or starts and runs fine?no the bogging only occurs on cold start, if the engines warm it starts fine.
if i wait 2 minutes or so after it stops high idle then it usually is fine, if its really cold outside sometimes it takes longer to not bog.I would suspect the coolant sensor. Try unplugging the coolant
sensor on the next cold start. see if the vehicle starts any better.i just tried and it didnt seem to bog ,it did idle at 2k, but its pretty warm outside right now so im going to try it later, but if that is the problem just buy and replace the sensor?
Is the check engine light on? You could also check the ohm resistance
with a ohm meter. when you unplug the cts.put the ohm meter on the sensor
with the engine running. as the coolant heats up the ohms will come down.
You could also clean the Mass air flow sensor. Try the coolant sensor first.ok started it after sitting out all night and the engine was nice and cold, unplugged the cts and started it and sure engough bogged out when i hit the gas.
