2005 Honda Accord hybrid has a engine knock on extremely cold start ups usually when it sits for more than 8 hours when I sit and let it warm up as well as drive a short distance the knock begins to fade away the proper oil is used and changed at 3,000 miles or 3 month intervals I should also mention this is the first winter it’s ever happened and I live in central California and this is the coldest winter we’ve had in years not sure what to do to eliminate this problem any help is appreciated thank you also full synthetic oil is used

I don’t have alot here other than there are alot of complaints on cold start noise.
Something with these engines. I don’t think Honda knows what to do.
