Anyone has any practical experience with spring coil boosters? AKA coil spacers.
I am looking into stiffening ride on my Camry. She just got new tires – nice improvement – and has not even year old struts in all four corners. Quality struts.
But it’s still not the same it was 60 000 miles back. Front sway bar is too much work to replace.
Coil boosters are inexpensive, and generally have quite a good review from end users. But then I saw some stating their springs snapped after booster install.
I am referring to the full circle rubber spacer, not cross like inserts. Those not gonna last, I know that.
      Anyone?

I tried the aluminum ones you twist in between the coils. They stayed in, the coils didn’t break but I didn’t notice much difference in ride. I ended up replacing the coils.

          Thank you, BB.
I’m staying away from metal ones. Too radical for vanilla sedan (though we do 0-60 in 7.8 👿 )
          Curious about the rubber/urethane ones.
