Hi, I have a 2001 Town & Country, it stopped turning on. It shows code PO106, but I changed the map sensor, sparks plug, checked gas pump, changed EGR, cleaned gas tank, put new filter, new crankshaft sensor, checked the computer, check the map sensor for the voltage and check the ground every thing looks good, but still the same code and still won’t start. Do you have any idea that can help me. Thanks Tony

Did you check for an intake manifold vacuum leak?

You will find the support and help on this forum are top notch. A little more clarification may be needed for your post. When you say, “it stopped turning on,” which of the following best describes?

          1. The engine turns over when ignition is engaged but will not start.
          2. Nothing happens when I turn the ignition- starter does not engage and engine in turn will not start.
          3. The engine tries to start, i.e, it sputters but won’t start, it cranks but won’t stay on, you hear a “click” when you turn the ignition, but nothing happens.

When you did the work as described in your post, were you trying to trouble shoot/ repair the no start issue or something else?

          Thank you

Which engine do you have? 3.3, 3.8, or 2.4?

When you were checking the MAP sensor circuits, what were the specific voltages? There should be a power wire, a ground, and a signal wire.

Why change the crank sensor and when you did, how did you set the gap for the sensor?

Have you verified that the spark plugs are actually firing?

Have you tried shooting a little something flammable down the throttle body to see if it’ll start on an alternative fuel source?
