      so

I just finished replacing clutch on 2002 ford focus svt, used Eric The Car Guy Video, Everything went ok until down off stands, then no movement. I can go though all gears without pushing down on clutch. But there is resistance. Did I not bleed it correctly?

It sounds like the clutch is never coming disengaged. Air in the line would not do that. Were the parts you installed identical to the parts removed? The height of the pressure plate and width of the throw out bearing could be wrong.

Did you have the issue with the old clutch? Are the shift levers on the transmission moving when you select different gears?

I’m not sure I understand your problem. Do you mean you start the engine, depress the clutch pedal, put the car in gear, let out the clutch and the car does not move?

Thx for reply, they were the same parts as far as I could tell without taking measurements, pilot tool fit old spline, flywheel and pressure plate visually looked the same, same with slave/throwout bearing. It looks like I may have to disassemble to diagnose properly. Would the linkage on the tranny moving have anything to do with it.
              ?

Yes Old clutch was worn out, flywheel seemed OK but replaced anyway.

Yes, that’s exactly how I wanted to type the post. Lol. Got lost between my brain and fingers. Wheels spin in air, but once lowered not enough friction.

Do you think it possible you put the disc in backwards? Did it sit flush to the flywheel? Any strange noise?

The disc was labeled, barring human error, I set it correct. There is some noise, but not very loud. When I tightened pressure plate, all was tight.

Sadly as reality sets in, it would seem I will have to take apart.

Have you tried opening the bleeder so there is no possibility of pressure in the hydrualics? See if that allows the clutch to grab.

                            That’s a good idea.

Since the wheels move when the car is in the air but not on the ground this tells me that the clutch is not fully engaging. First I would check the movement of the slave cylinder. Make sure it fully retracts backward when the clutch pedal is released. Also make sure it is properly installed.

After that, I don’t see any other alternative other than to take everything apart. :

I have a feeling your throw out bearing is seated wrong on the clutch fork.

I did that very thing long ago on a Toyota Tacoma, did not get the throw out bearing seated right and it did the very exact thing your are talking about.
