Long story behind this car. I bought the car when it had 106,000 miles on it, put a clutch in it and it ran well until I sold it at 140,000 miles. Owner came back to me and offered the car back which I did buy it back. Now the car has 202,000 on it. The problem I’m having is that the clutch will only disengage when its on the floor. I only have to let off the pedal VERY little for the clutch to catch again, whereas before I had a little wiggle room, so to speak. The clutch still grabs great, no slippage or anything. I read online that it could be the clutch master or slave cylinder, however, The fluid is still full so I don’t think its leaking. My question is before I start throwing parts at it to fix it, is it a strong possibility that it could be the clutch master or slave cylinder? I plan on replacing both if I do it.
Thank you.
Tim.
