Dear All,
I would like to clean the inside of my accord ( 330k miles ) gas tank…. without dismounting it! I assume the tank should have a lot of “particles” in the bottom. I was thinking of getting a fluids hand pump and extract all the gas in the tank. I hope that the last bit of gas pulls out most of the particles in the tank.
Is there a better idea? I don’t even know if my approach would work. Thank you.

Run the car low on gas so you don’t have to remove as much.
Then wipe it out with lint free towels.
