Hello guys,
I have a Toyota Corolla HB E12 facelift 110 VVTi Sol 1.6l, UK parts from 2005.
I’m looking for the origin of a low noise which sounds like a “clack”, which occurs only when the car starts to move in the first gear, and when the clutch pedal is almost fully released.
Sometimes I hear this noise also accelerating harder in the second gear… but almost every time when I start to move upward on a slope…It also depends on how I release the clutch pedal.
I wonder if this is a problem with the clutch or with the gearbox, or another part which is closely connected to the clutch pedal?
It’s sounds like something which is partially stucked, and then released when the car starts… or as if a faulty spring which withdrew later…Maybe it’s just need to grease something… but what?
It’s not the specific ABS noise which occurs only when we move for the first time, after the engine is started.
All the silent blocks, engine an gearbox fixations seems to be OK, and also all mechanical parts related to the direction or suspension were already checked or partially changed (if they had even a small shifting).I read somewhere, that it could be also a noise coming from the breaks, pads or brackets, (however strange at every start)?
Thank you in advance for your kind help or any idea.
