I have a 2012 Civic Si Coupe that I drive pretty hard on honestly and the front rotors are showing heat cracks. I’m buying drilled and slotted rotor’s very soon but I’m not sure which brake material to go with when I upgrade to these rotor’s.

I’m thinking semi-metallic. I don’t care about noise really or brake dust that much. The thing I’m looking for is stopping ability really. Does anyone suggest organic or ceramic?

ceramics are the best quality. Ive known them to squeak a bit though. But if youre getting drilled/ slotted rotors, ceramics would probly be the best match for them.

For the best stopping performance metallic is the best. You might not be able to find them for that car. Most newer cars come with ceramic installed.
