Chrysler 300 In-dash Navigation Map Update FAIL

I recently purchased the “Uconnect In-dash Navigation Map and Software Update”.
I loaded the newest software update and sometime when the Maps were downloading the car shut off,
and the maps didn’t update. You cannot go back and start the download over, because it wipes the
SD card. I went to a Chrysler Service Department, and thay are telling me that I have to replace the
the whole radio. I’m Calling Bull Sh*t! Is there a way to access the maps or do I have to purchase the
Maps again?
