child locks

      I have my 91 explorer the two back doors with child lock I can open them from the out side but not the inside I have try to take the child look off but the still will not work how can I fix them both I don’t know what to do

            Strange, I can’t think of any reason both doors should be affected the same way at the same time.

            I was sure that the childlock system is contained in each latch.

              ok then I know both of the doors do open only from the out side and not the inside could it just be the bar the connects to the door latch or is the child lock separate from that system ??

                There is a TSB on door latches in your vehicle.

                The childlock system is usually built into the latch itself.
