Hello all,
I’m new to the forum and can use some help diagnosing my vibration issue. I have a 2000 Chevy S10 Blazer LT 4D 4×4. Ever since I purchased the vehicle little over a year ago it has had a vibration at hwy speeds. At 60 it comes in light to moderate above 70 it becomes unbearable, loud growling vibration that you can feel in the floors, and in the seat. Here’s what has been repaired or replaced: Rear driveshaft u joints shaft straightened and balanced, rear brake rotors, rear axle bearings and differential bearings, right front wheel bearing/hub assy, engine and trans mounts, harmonic balancer, new tires, new shocks, front sway bar bushings, and an alignment. At hwy speed I put the vehicle in neutral and shutoff the engine vibration is still there. It feels like a balance issue however new tires with balance did not change the vibration, thought it might be right rear wheel so today I moved the rear up to the front which was inconclusive. No steering wheel shake or feedback thru the brakes. The engine idles a bit rough however it seemed like after new engine mounts it is more noticeable, also tach is rock steady engine & trans perform well. Shop that rebuilt diff believes transfer case is ok as well. I did repair some vacuum leaks when I purchased the vehicle and I do not see or hear anything unusual from the engine. Sorry for the long post if anyone has any suggestions or encountered this before your help will be most appreciated!
