Chevy 4.3 vortec v6

i have a 1998 Chevy 1500 pick up that has a bad 4.3 vortec v6 motor i have a 1997 Chevy Astor with a good 4.3 vortec v6 the has bad wire runs like a champ my ? is the 4.3 vortec v6 in the 1997 Chevy Astor has oil cooling lines but the 1998 Chevy 1500 pick up 4.3 vortec v6 does not have oil cooling lines can the oil cooling be removed with damaging the engine ?

I don’t see why you could not remove the lines and install
plugs. You could leave the lines to a point and install a
front mount oil cooler to help the motor.
