When my late friend Ryan’s truck came in, it needed some brake work. Instead of just doing the front brakes, I took the liberty of checking out the rear brakes as well as the rest of the truck. I think this is good practice. What are your thoughts?

yes, checking things over can be a way too give your customer the peace of mind letting them know you are watching there car… also in the case of your own vehicle you can save yourself headache and some money, like when you do a tire rotation, while you have it jacked up and the tires of inspect the breaks, look at all the suspension components, once the tires are rotated check your wheel bearings and all that jazz, save yourself headache in the future!

Eric a group of videos suggestion for ETCG1, a video of you doing an actual MPI on a car and on a truck. I notice a lot of new techs miss stuff because they are so overwhelmed with the thought process behind looking over a vehicle. Unfortunately shops never really take the time to walk them through a few and I think you are the perfect person to do this for new and potential technicians.
