Check engine light

hey my car just got a reconstructed head new timing belt water pump head gasket was change catalytic converter changed and two weeks after driving it i got the check engine light up with codes p0170 and p0175 what could it be??

What is your front A/F (upstream O2 sensor) telling you….. What is the LTFT?

A little more about the vehicle type would probably be helpful…

Can be something as simple as a new O2 sensor to fuel injectors, to something mechanical.. more info the better…

You can disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes for the computer (ECU) to re-learn the fuel trims, but if the codes come back, you still have a problem to deal with…

Both codes are mixture related. I would recommend you go back and check the work to make sure everything is hooked up correctly and that there are no vacuum leaks. That’s a lot of work so there is much that can go wrong if it’s not done properly. Also it’s probably not a bad idea to check the valve adjustment, if that’s off it can upset the fuel mixture. Keep us posted on your findings.

well eric my mechanic told me he adjusted the valves twice cause when he did it the first time he said he heard to much tapping so he adjusted it again and i checked everything is hooked up right, also my car is loosing antifreeze theirs no leaking and the head gasket is new what could it be??

You say your losing coolant? You may have air in the system.
Try and bleed the cooling system.
