Keep in mind that just because you have MAP sensor codes doesn’t mean that your MAP sensor is bad. Be sure to check your mechanical timing as well as your ignition system. Those things can cause a MAP sensor code if there is an issue there. Also check the vacuum line going to it. If there is a problem with the vacuum line the MAP sensor won’t be able to give accurate readings.

what it will do is when i frist start it up and drive it the check engine light is on stedy then when is get up to speed and the truck warms up it will jerk and the check engine light will go out.

the computer is recognizing a problem.Then the problem is
clearing so the light goes out.

Unfortunately for me the symptoms don’t help. I would suggest looking for an engine performance issue first by checking for vacuum leaks and checking your tune up items. If you don’t find anything there then I would follow the diagnostics for the MAP sensor. Don’t replace it, check to see if it’s working properly first.
