Here is a wiring diagram. There are fuses and fusible links.
Also check the cables and connections.

is it possible that the starter solenoid is constantly drawing power and needs to be replaced??? ive also been told that a bad ground could be the problem i just dont know where to start looking for a bad ground if that is the case i really need to fix this problem i have to go back to work in a few weeks

There are no fuses for the charging system other than the one for the dash bulb, if it has one. Thats a Delco Si internal regulated model. One big red wire to a positive terminal, and two other wires, one signal wire, and one that goes to a resistance circuit and or bulb. No more to it than that. You should be able to disconnect the alternators connections from the car, jump appropriatlyout of the car circuitry and figure out the problem. Thats a very simple system. I always remove externally regulated alternators from my older Gm cars and put later alternators with internally regulated models on because its so easy.. If in the event that you have something misswired, shorted, what not, it wlll blow the internals out the alternators till you isolate the problem.

Is the Alternator getting the 12V reference?

Are you sure it’s a good alternator?

You drive a 92 third generation firebird and are wearing jeans with holes in them. Rock on dude!!! 😀

Needing three alternators causes me to think you were buying remans. And that will save you money if you don’t mind the hassle. But if you have a reman on there now that could be the problem again – the alternator itself has failed. I’d suggest having it tested.

Is the little red battery light on the dash working? If not, the alternator will not charge.

If the light is working, turn the key on (engine not running) and touch the alternator pulley with a screwdriver tip. If you feel a magnetic attraction through the tip of the screwdriver then the alternator is probably good and there’s a problem between the alternator and battery. Maybe a bad fusible link, poor junction terminal connection, etc.
