Changing Transmission in 2002 Honda Accord 2.3L

Hello,

The transmission in my wife’s 2002 Honda Accord with 305,000 miles seems to be becoming very fragile. Late shift and hard shifts and downshifts. It looks like I can buy a low mileage replacement for around $350.

Has anybody done this swap before? How complex of a job is this? I’d say that I’m a fairly advanced DIY’r. I’ve done engine swaps and clutch replacements before. And two years ago, I replaced the subframe on this car.

Is it reasonable to be able to do this job over a weekend? Are there any things that I should watch out for before I start?
