Changing drive shaft damaging gearbox

Hi all, i drive a local version of daihatsu mira, i just changed my drive shaft today, after changing, immediately when i drive out from the shop, my gearbox started producing loud noises while driving, is it possible that the mechanic had damaged my gearbox during installation or the gearbox itself is already in poor state and gave in by itself? thanks

If it happened after the car was professionally serviced the you should take it back as soon as possible.

It may be possible the shaft is incorrect, or it is not seated fully… Also, the bearings in the transaxle may have been damaged. .
