Changing 2000 Corolla cv shaft

I’ve changed cv shafts a couple times before on old hondas and never had to mess with any transmission fluid before. But my drivers side cv shaft needs replaced. I Think of this generation of Corolla the differential fluid is going to come out. Can any confirm this? Also I plan on only jacking up on side of the car to hopefully keep as much fluid in as possible. It’s a 2000 Corolla ve with a 3speed automatic transmission. Thanks guys.
