🙁 I have a old 1991 toyota starlet ep82 carburetor,it stall when I’m at a stop at normal rpm ,but when i turn up the rpm the car stop stall but it missfire like crazy .
Could it be a ignition or a compression leak i already check and there is no vaccum leak.

I would look at the ignition wires and the coils. Could be an issue of dirt/oil contamination causing a misfire, or perhaps the ignition wires are dirty/old and cracked, and/or are touching or close enough to cause ignition cross-fire.

Make sure the coils are clean, make sure the ignition wires are properly seated at both ends, and make sure there aren’t any ignition wires touching each other or are close enough to each other to cause cross-fire.

How many miles? Sounds like more of a timing problem to me.

😆 i took my car to a garage Ive heard of on it turn out to be that the distributor was off and the air fuel mixture was off causing the car to stall when brake and also when D -drive was selected. thanks a lot got every thing back to normal.

my car have a automatic transmission i normally take my foot off the gas at the top of the hill where there is a flat and then a bend, the car will then stall and start right back up when put in park and it has a new mechanical fuel pump 2 months old
