      HI,

Could someone please help, my car Ford Ikon Keeps slipping out of wheel alignment. I Keep fixing it but it keeps going out of alignment. Well My driving is smooth sometimes I hit potholes or miss to observe speed brakers and the vehicle rams but Im sure that the vehicle dynamics are meant to take these shocks at least occasionally. But my vehicle right after when it hits any pothole it just goes out of alignment. What could be the exact cause and what are the steps to diagnose.

      Thanks in advance

      Navin

depending on the size of the pot hole or suspension impact.
The components actually bend. Thats why adjustments need to be
made to compensate. try not to hit pot holes or big impacts to the
        suspenion.

Well, I actually try my best to get rid of pot holes but it just appears from no where and I hit them. Then it looks like I gotta purchase a wheel alignment kit for my vehicle. 😛

This happened to me once. I would hit a bump and my aligmnent would just shift, since this was pre-ETCG I took it to a mechanic to repair and it turned out to be a cracked strut mount.

                        Hi,

I just wanna know if this is true. I had my car taken to the wheel alignment center the actual ford service center. They diagnosed and stated that I have to get the tie rods and ball joints replaced, at the moment its quite not necessary but in the next service I have to get them replaced. So I just wanna make sure that is this a possible cause, I accept ball joints getting worn out but tie rods quite not convinced. Please suggest!!!

Tie rods do wear out.Once the seal breaks and grease comes
out. Dirt and water get in. They get as wrench turner would
say loose and sloppy.Just the way he likes his women.Tie rods
are not a big ticket item. You could check them for play.
