My 1991 Camaro has been stalling all day. The first time it stalled at a 4 way stop thankfully, but after that it stalled on the damn highway at full speed. Then it stalled 3 times after that. It seems to have no apparent reason as to why it stalls. The first two times it stalled I had the A/C on,but then I shut it off,and it still stalled.
I have a feeling I’ll just be taking it in to get checked out,but what are some simple tests I can run myself? I already know the it starts right back up when it stalls. It has nothing to do with the air conditioning. I can’t really test for fuel pump priming sound sense it has no problem starting up. One thing I noticed is my gas cap isn’t easy to get on and off. I don’t really think it’s on all the way,but it only lets me turn it so far. I’ll definitely be replacing that whether it’s related or not. What do you think is the issue? I’m leaning towards a fuel pump, but I’m no expert. I’ve got brand new injectors in it,so it can’t be those.
