      I think your on the money with the fuel pump. when the_x000D_
      fuel pressure gauge was hooked up. did you check for_x000D_
      leak down. next time the car is cold. cycle the key on 3 times_x000D_
      with out starting the car. then try to start the car. see if it starts_x000D_

          You might be having an issue with the check valve inside the fuel pump.
