      Please let me know of ways in which a car can catch on fire while working on it ?

        There are so many reasons for a fire. I had one with a fuel leak ignite from a bad spark wire. Have seen afew with electrical fires. Seen a pile of early 80s cameros light up carpet from cat converter heat. There are many possabilities.

            There are as many things that can catch a car on fire as their are things that can catch your house on fire. That makes this question very difficult to answer. Obviously keep ignition sources away from gas fumes but also beware of transmission fluid and old oil. It’s also not a bad idea to keep a fire extinguisher in your vehicle and garage just in case one does break out.
