Hey everyone!
I’ve recently had the very pleasent experience of dealing with a cracked car battery. I found out it was cracked because my back up lamp switch, which sits right under it, had failed. Pull the battery out and it’s wet, “That’s wierd I thought”. Then after I got a whiff of the battery acid and my skin started to burn I realized what had happened.
I think a video about proper battery maintenance, handling, precautions (such as hydrogen gas from overheating) and securing would be a good topic. Also how to clean up after cracked battery to prevemt prevent unwanted corrosion. As far as I understand water and baking soda does the trick.
Keep up the great videos!
