can’t open the door 2003 honda accord

Hello, i need help on my 2003 honda accord v6 LX, 250k

I was changing the window actuator, put everything back together, i did connect the latch to the interior door handle. So i closed the door and now can’t open it. I’m pretty sure that the latch got lose somehow on BOTH HANDLES. I didn’t even touch the outside handle latch. anyway i need help on how to open the door, my car is coupe so if one of the two doors don’t open, that is a big problem. I’m can’t really take off the door panel again because it’s closed. I was hoping i can just take off the door handle from the interior but its connected to the arm rest. It’s kind of like the picture in the link. The door handle is like part of the arm rest which connects to the whole panel.
Does slim jim just unlock the door or can it actually open the door? I’m pretty much out of ideas now.

Is there any resistance on either handle? If not, there may be one or more of the rods not connected properly. In which case, your only option is to cut a hole in the interior panel. The way every Honda door panel comes apart that I’ve seen, you can’t do anything else.
